EVEDA HubX

EVEDA HubX portable screening device

A portable, 5.6kg point of care screening device that captures 300+ data points across six core health systems in 15 minutes. Five drops of capillary blood. No venepuncture. No lab. Australian designed and manufactured.

Specifications

One integrated device, clinical-grade accuracy

HubX is a single, portable screening system, classified as a Class IIb medical device (ARTG 346638) and independently validated through Randox RIQAS and ACUSERA programs, with ongoing RCPA QAP external quality assurance.

Weight

Approximately 5.6kg. Portable enough for a single operator to carry to any screening location.

Sample requirements

Five drops of capillary blood (finger prick) and a urine sample. No venepuncture, no phlebotomist required.

Time to results

Full screening results available in approximately 15 minutes onsite. No external lab wait.

Data points

300+ screening assessments across six core health systems, heart and cardiovascular, liver and hepatic, kidney and renal, metabolic and pancreatic, respiratory and lungs, and mental performance and psychosocial.

Connectivity

Internet and cloud enabled with standalone, redundant power and satellite communication for remote and rural settings.

Regulatory

ARTG 346638 (Class IIb). TGA registered. Medsafe NZ listed. ISO 13485 certified quality management.

Screening capabilities

300+ parameters across 13 screening categories

Every HubX screening captures a comprehensive health profile across cardiovascular, metabolic, respiratory, renal, hepatic, and neurological systems in a single 15-minute session.

Cardiovascular

Comprehensive cardiac screening including 12-lead electrocardiogram with full waveform analysis, blood pressure with systolic, diastolic and mean arterial pressure readings, haemoglobin and hematocrit levels, cardiac muscle enzyme markers, and a complete lipid profile covering total cholesterol, all major lipoprotein fractions, calculated ratios, and total lipid concentration.

Body composition

Clinical-grade body impedance analysis producing over 30 parameters comparable to DEXA scanning. Includes body mass indices, metabolic rate, body fat composition, visceral fat, bone mass, muscle mass, protein mass, lean body mass, body water, skeletal muscle mass, and segmental muscle distribution across all four limbs. Calculates metabolic age, physical age, target weight, and overall body composition score.

Renal

Complete kidney function screening from both blood and urine samples. Blood markers assess creatinine, uric acid, urea, and estimated glomerular filtration rate with calculated ratios. Comprehensive urine analysis covers protein, glucose, micro-albumin, pH, specific gravity, bilirubin, leukocytes, and additional markers for early detection of kidney disease and related conditions.

Respiratory

Full pulmonary function testing with pre and post-bronchodilator spirometry assessment. Measures all standard lung capacity and flow parameters with predicted values calculated for each. Generates flow-volume loop graphs for clinical interpretation. Includes oxygen saturation, pulse rate, and respiratory rate monitoring.

Hepatic

Comprehensive liver function panel covering total protein, albumin, globulin and their ratios, total, direct and indirect bilirubin, all major liver enzymes, bile acid levels, and cholinesterase. Provides a complete picture of hepatic function for early detection of liver conditions.

Mental health and wellbeing

Validated psychological assessment measuring depression, anxiety, and stress with clinical severity grading. Mood and fatigue screening integrated with physiological data. Temperature monitoring across multiple measurement points. Comprehensive questionnaire correlated with health screening results.

Blood gas analysis

Capillary blood gas panel measuring blood acidity, partial pressures of carbon dioxide and oxygen, lactate levels, and glucose. Provides critical insight into metabolic and respiratory status, acid-base balance, and tissue perfusion from a simple finger prick sample.

Endocrine and pancreatic

Complete diabetes screening with fasting and random blood glucose, ketone bodies, and glycated haemoglobin for long term glucose management assessment. Pancreatic enzyme analysis for pancreatic function evaluation. Multiple metabolic cross-references across blood and blood gas modules.

Electrolytes

Comprehensive electrolyte panel measuring all major blood electrolytes including sodium, potassium, chloride, calcium, and additional ions critical to cardiac, muscular, and neurological function.

Infectious disease screening

Rapid kit-based testing for location-specific infectious diseases with immediate onsite results. Deployable across tropical, regional, and remote settings where communicable disease surveillance is critical. Kit selection tailored to geographic and epidemiological requirements.

Imaging

Integrated point of care ultrasound with multiple probe configurations for sonographic assessment. Supports clinical evaluation across a range of applications at the point of care.

Immunoassay

Antibody-based biomarker analysis for thyroid function, renal function, liver function, and additional clinical markers. Extends the screening depth of the standard blood chemistry panel with targeted protein and hormone measurement.

General health and vitals

Stethoscope auscultation, temperature monitoring, pulse oximetry, and comprehensive body impedance analysis. Instant onsite printed reporting via integrated thermal printer. Full offline data capture with automatic cloud synchronisation when connectivity is available.

The HubX platform is configurable and extensible. Screening modules, test kits, and probe configurations are deployed based on clinical requirements and deployment context. Additional capabilities can be integrated as they become available.

Workplace drug and alcohol screening is delivered through the standalone EVEDA DtX device, sold and deployed independently of HubX. AS/NZS 4760:2019 compliant. 16 parameter oral fluid screen. Approximately 10-minute results.

Questions

Common questions

What does HubX measure?

300+ parameters across six core health systems, from a finger prick and a urine sample.

How long does it take?

About 15 minutes from sample to results, at the point of care.

Are there needles?

No venepuncture, a simple finger prick and urine sample.

Is it a diagnosis?

HubX is a screening device. Results flag indicators for clinical follow up; it does not replace a doctor’s diagnosis.

Where can it be used?

It is portable and point of care, workplaces, community settings, clinics, and rural & remote locations.

Is it regulated?

Australian designed and manufactured, ARTG listed (Class IIb), ISO 13485, independently validated (Randox), with ongoing RCPA QAP external quality assurance.
